The mission of the Cape Town Baptist Seminary is to prepare men and women for ministry. Their mission is to seek to place a balanced emphasis on the academic, spiritual and practical training of future ministers, and they prepare pastors, youth pastors and other  Christian leaders in Africa for Africa.

The Seminary is accredited by the Council on Higher Education and is also registered with the Department of Education.

They offer  tuition on a full-time, part-time and distance-learning basis. Students may specialize in Pastoral Ministry, Missions, Youth Ministry or Children’s Ministry. The Seminary offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in cooperation with the University of Pretoria.

They offer short certificate courses in Christian Work and Pastoral Ministry.

The purpose of Impact Mobilisation Department of the Hatfield Christian Church is to fulfill the great commission by making Christ’s last commandment, their first priority. They endeavour  to facilitate, train and equip the church for impacting their community as well as the nations.

They endeavour to facilitate, train and equip the church to be mobilised into all nations. There are various training programmes because they believe the  church must be prepared and ready to go!

Some of the many courses they present are:

• sending Cell Training Course – training those interested in getting involved in supporting a Missionary;
• the World Perspectives Course – basic for all interested in being actively involved in missions;
• reaching Your Muslim Neighbour Seminar – teaching foundational facts about Islam.
