The Market Photo Workshop | Newtown, Johannesburg

The Market Photo Workshop offers short and long courses in photography, educating learners in all technical and practical aspects. They ensure that their students get the skills and knowledge needed to be excellent  photographers, and their courses always offer something new through demonstration.

On top of this they have what is called an Assessment Focus Session and this is to make sure that the students have grasped everything they were exposed to in the week, and in the final assessment, students have to produce a portfolio of  work to demonstrate they have grasped the skills required for the course, and this will also be presented at an exhibition, accompanied by written tasks. You will also be required to do a brief verbal presentation of your work.

At the end of the Foundation Course you will be able to photograph and process photographic images in analogue and digital formats.
