Tshivingwi Bush Experiences is a diverse company providing a vital range of options and services to the eco-tourism industry; one of them being the training and assessing of nature guides. James Hatfield, Tshivingwi’s primary trainer is a FGASA level lll and Special Knowledge and Skills (Dangerous Animals) qualified guide, member of the Game Rangers Association of Africa (GRAA) and currently the Regional Chairperson for FGASA in the Waterberg, and if that doesn’t convince you of the quality training you will receive, then nothing will.

Accredited courses are based on the FGASA syllabus and all evaluations, material and training are quality assured by the FGASA.

  • FGASA Accredited Advanced Rifle Handling Course & Evaluation
  • Specialist Tracking and Sign Interpretation Courses
  • Correspondence Courses for FGASA Level I, II, & III
  • FGASA Level l, ll, lll, & SKS (Dangerous Animals) Evaluations
  • Tracker Assessments, Developmental Training and Evaluations
  • THETA Nature Unit Assessments (NQF2, NQF3, NQF4, NQF6) with a view of potentially dangerous animals.

With subjects like botany, veld management, nature guide code of conduct and etiquette, amphibians, mammals, weather phenomena and a host of other interesting topics, you will be well on your way to becoming a top nature guide from receiving top notch training.
