Arts & Crafts | The Pottery Studio | Bryanston
The Pottery Studio offers 3 hour creative pottery workshops for corporate groups of up to 20 participants. Participants will be introduced to ceramics and expert tuition by a highly experienced potter will give you the opportunity to actually make your own pottery piece on the potter’s wheel.
Classes are provided for adults in the mornings and for children in the afternoons, and there is wheelchair access too!
All levels of experience are welcome to attend classes and workshops. Basics of clay and glaze composition will be discussed throughout the classes in a relaxed and informal manner. Each student works at their own pace and individuality and originality are encouraged.
Specialised workshops include:
- traditional African pots
- terracotta African head sculture
- decorating techniques
- glazing techniques
- Majolica decoration
- smoke and Raku firing ….. and much more
