They were established in 1976, and their aim is to be one of the leading service provider of skills training in South Africa. Their mission is to develop and enrich individuals and organisations through effective and relevant skills training. They provide accredited demand led training within the National Qualifications Framework Structure and in support of the National skills Development Strategy.
Their training courses are presented at ETC’s campus in Port Elizabeth, but they extend their training to other venues as well as other Southern African countries. Training facilities are modern and relevant and include various simulating media and training aids, computer laboratories, mobile facilities, a large range of fully equipped workshops and lecture rooms and more.
Their range of programs includes training courses in fields such as management and administration, supervision, mechanical, welding and electrical, driving and operator, building and construction, electronics, catering, and many more. The courses are continually added to or adapted in order to stay ahead and offer students the best training possible.
