They are provisionally accredited with the Department of Education as a Private Further Education and Training College and the Health and Welfare Sector of Education & Training Authority. Their nursing programme is accredited with the South African Nursing Council.

A student can qualify for prior learning credits depending on previous studies and appropriate experience in accordance with the regulations as stipulated by the SANC/HWSETA.

Home Based Care
Their 3 month Home Based Care programme forms the backbone of the Organisation’s Empowerment philosophy. This programme is considered as a stepping stone for career advancement to Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary and

Enrolled Nurse
This 3 month course is for the person who is interested in people and caring for them.

Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
One year nursing programme
The course will  equip you with the skills & knowledge for the provision of safe basic nursing care.
Enrolled Nurse
One year nursing programme – This programme is offered to candidates who successfully completed the one year ENA programme (recognition for prior learning).

Help At Home specializes in providing skilled staff  to better your quality of life at home.The training received is comprehensive and thorough, making sure that only high caliber, competent workers are available.

Their courses are unique as they include quite a bit of insight and training around twins and multiples. In this way all the child minders that pass through our training will be well equipped to handle twins and multiples efficiently.

Help at Home  are soon to offer training courses for domestic workers and housemen as well.

Training is only for already employed Nannies and Au Pairs.They will learn valuable things such as -

• child minding – bottles, bathing, dressing etc
• medical basics – how to give medicine,  CPR, first aid for cuts, burns as well as drowning, shock etc
• common childhood ailments – chicken pox, mumps, measles, tonsillitis
• the development of the child from babyhood into the toddler years.
