Jumping into a world of creative expression and getting lost in the fantasy of their dreams, is what our little budding artists can look forward to at Smudge, all while they are guided through the wonders of art, music and literature.!
Smudge is built around a central art room and also offers an interactive music room, children’s book lounge, fantasy dress-up area, party room and a coffee shop.
Children of all ages are offered the space and the opportunity to develop and express their creativity at Smudge. The children, in effect, re-design the interior daily, as art activities are not restricted to paper. Children can draw on the walls, the tables and re-arrange the giant felt wall.
Children can explore their natural creativity in the magical environment created by Smudge, where it is the child’s imagination that is allowed to run wild.
Smudge also presents TODDLERS-IN-TUNE music workshops as music helps children connect the outer world of movement and sound with the inner world of feelings and observations. Children’s way of learning music is the same way they learn language, through listening and imitating. Classes include singing, movement and basic instruments.
Smudge caters for children aged 10 – 24 months. As moms and dads, grannies and nannies help demonstrate actions to their little ones, they are included in the group.
Smudge offers a wonderful way to bond with your baby in a creative and stimulating environment, while having fun and learning new songs.
