Pottery Classes | Lehmcraft Pottery Studio | Johannesburg
If you want to learn how to manipulate clay and discover and understand the properties of clay, then Lehmcraft Pottery Studio is the perfect place to take part in exciting and creative new projects. With a qualified and skilled teacher, classes are geared towards children and adults alike.
In the interests of everyone, health and safety standards will also be discussed with the students in terms of clay and glaze composition ingredients, the firing process and safety rules regarding the studio and kiln room.
While children are having fun, a whole range of other learning experiences are taking place – children have to take decisions, learn how to plan to complete a project.
While all equipment and materials are provided in the studio, students are welcome to take along their own tools.
A pottery workshop geared towards about 20 participants is a great team building initiative and can be customised to suit any group’s requirements.
