They were established in 1981 by Isabel Verwey and they offer a  relaxed atmosphere, catering for competitive as well as non-competitive riders of all ages. There are 60 stables on 11 hectares at this Centre.

Experienced instructors will first assess you to determine your ability before placing you in a small group. Their focus is on building confidence and advancing your riding skills.

They offer a wide range of courses for both the novice and experienced riders. Intensive riding tuition can also be arranged. The school horses  include ex-competition horses and a selection of quiet and well schooled horses which are retained for novice riders.

As a qualified physiotherapist, Patrick Thomas works with horses with an  initial strong emphasis on sports physiotherapy. He runs his own equine practice, and pursues an interest in antiretroviral rollout and healthcare management in South Africa. He still administers the equine physio practice, and continues to consult on cases and offer certain courses.

There are no courses planned. All courses, except the comprehensive Equine Massage course, are organized for five or more  participants.
