Cape Flying Services is fully equipped for all instrument and night flying, and the fact that this airport is not hecticly busy makes it perfect for student pilot training purposes; the airport being equipped to international standards day and night instrument conditions.
They also have excellent facilities for the students, and there is a bar, pool tables, braaing facilities to ensure that students can really relax when away from their training.
Gerald Todd heads the team of professional flight instructors, and with their combined skills and experience, students can be assured of the best. Their flight training is on a one-to-one basis and conducted simultaneously with the academic side. The progress of students is assessed daily.
They offer 12 PPL courses each year. It is an 8 week course, making provision for bad weather.The full CPL course commences on the same days as the PPL. There are three CPL ground courses The complete CPL course will take 9 to 10 months to complete.
