This course is aimed at improving the level of competence in basic accounting for all participants of this course.
This course has a duration of two hours per week for twelve weeks. These classes are presented at the prestigious West Campus of Wits University.

• The accounting framework
• Recording of external transactions
• The role of accounting in business
• The accounting equation and the analysis of transactions
• Recording of internal transactions
• Inventory systems
• Preparation of financial statements
