Susan Pletts has been training agricultural students in commercial farming principles. The training extends to actually living on the farm, having lectures from study notes printed and bound by herself; as well as practical application of what has been learnt.

The Centre for Rural Legal Studies wants to see a society where people are participating in and benefiting from a secure, prosperous and sustainable environment. They want to enable the rural poor to find ways and means to improve their livelihoods.

Employment Equity for women farm workers

This is a 3-day course covering the Sectoral Determination in Agriculture. Students are equipped with knowledge to enable them to advise and assist farm workers in enforcing their basic employment rights.
